Long time users like me complain a little about the pricing model because I noticed that the quality of the generated images degraded a little.

A bunch of my first attempt images are incoherent. Sometimes even completely different from what I expect.

They could've at least offer an initial lower resolution images and give the user an option to upscale if they're satisfied with the result. This is how MidJourney works
